She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Darbonne; and her parents, Joseph Manuel and Olga Manuel. She is survived by: her children, Jacques Darbonne of Basile and Katie Maggio (Beau) of Oberlin; her brother Richard "Kirk" Manuel of Moss Bluff; and her grandchildren, Baylor and Blair.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel (1210 S Ryan Ave, Basile, LA 70515). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (2717 Dr Bobby Deshotel Ave, Basile, LA 70515). An entombment was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the same location.
