He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Parsley of Evangeline, LA and Doris Crochet Parsley of Hathaway, LA.; his godson Brandon Michael Gay; and his nephews, Zack Gay and Jarrod LeBlanc.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Louviere Parsley; his children, Derrick Parsley and Victoria Parsley; and his siblings, Bridget Gay (Barry), Dickie Parsley (Joanette), Lolly LeBlanc (Calvin) and Sonja "Sunny" Monceaux (Terry Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
