He was predeceased by: his former wife Barbara Orr; his parents, Whitney Orr and Mildred Orr; and his siblings, Marie Kennedy, Norman Orr and Frank Orr.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Orr; his children, Terri Starks (Robyn), Cindy Eldridge (Sammy), Babi Evans (Bill) and Joel Orr (Phyllis); his stepchildren, Mary Cox (Ronnie) and Earl Crumley (Jennifer); his sister Merdean Lord; his grandchildren, Niki Campanale, Trey Eldridge, Lacy Hill, Ryan Starks, Josh Pagillo, Rachel Betts, Kevin Orr and William Orr; and his stepgrandchildren, Trent Cox, Mariah Crumley and Jeffrey Crumley. He is also survived by twenty three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital -501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
