She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Otto and Vallie Davenport; her daughter Nevelyn; her siblings, Rachel King, Lula Mae Smith (Ivory) and Norwood Spencer; and her husband John Edward Whaley.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalind, Shannon Whaley of Bastrop, Louisiana and Darrell Edward Whaley of Monroe, Louisiana; her grandchildren, Cortney McCray, KaJuan Whaley, Michaela Whayley and DeCario Whaley; and her siblings, Wilma Davenport and Ralph Davenport (Shelia). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
