It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Byron Newton of Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on December 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Newton; and his siblings, Robert W. Newton and Donna Susan Newton. He is survived by: his children, Jenny Pepper of Ridgeland, MS, Ann Parker of West Monroe, LA, Donna Wroten of Clinton, MS and Bobby Pepper of Richland, MS; and his brother Scott Newton of Raymond, MS. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
