He is survived by: his children, Melvin Reed, Margaret Reed, Terrance White, Janice Alexander, Tony Brown and Sandra Cannon; and his siblings, Roosevelt Gayles of East Lansing, Jo Ann Higgins of Bastrop, LA and Jewel Gayles of Bastrop, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
