She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall Matheny; her parents, David Bray and Eulah Bray; her siblings, Onella Childers, Jack Bray, Kenneth Bray (Billie), L. B. Bray (Nadean) and Eugene Bray (Ruby); and her nephew Kent Bray.
She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Denise Matheny; and her sibling's children, Doris Williams, Karen Bray and Darrell Bray. She is also survived by four great nieces and nephews; and eight great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (10800 US-425, Bastrop, LA 71220).
