He was predeceased by: his parents, T. L. Kelly (Dale) and Marie Kelly; his grandparents, T. E. and Cassie Kelly; his parents-in-law, Clifton "Pip", Dorothy and Rogers; and his brother-in-law Clifton Rogers, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Rogers Kelly; his children, Melissa Kelly Sawyer and Bobby Dale Kelly (Larke); his grandchildren, John David Sawyer II, Jake Kelly (Olivia), Katy Kelly, Briley Kelly and Hillary Simpson (Sean); his daughter Caroline (Kali Sawyer); his aunt Betty Kelly; and his sister-in-law Sandra Rogers. He is also survived by nephews and friends.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
