He is survived by: his wife Edna Royal Yates; his children, Vicki Yates and William Todd Yates (Amy); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Alexander Simmons (Francesca Marie' Simmons), Victoria Leigh Simmons, Annabelle Elizabeth Aisling Yates, Matthew Garrison Simmons (Savannah Brooke Simmons) and Wilson Davis Littlejohn Yates; and his great grandchild Alexandra Marie Simmons.
