She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Fred" Biggs and Frances Jones Biggs; her son James N. Peavy; her siblings, Brenda Morgan and Jerry Biggs; and her son-in-law Joe Mullins.

She is survived by: her children, Scottie Peavy of Spearsville, LA, Wayne Peavy (Christina) of West Monroe, LA, Angela "Angie" Hadley (Mitch), Shelley Pierce (Sammy) of Sterlington and Sharon Mullins of Crowville, LA; her brother Donnie Biggs of Crowville, LA; and her aunt Earline McMillian. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
