She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Ray Mercer; her siblings, Eddie Alvin Burchell, Sue Carolyn Burchell, Eddie Leon Burchell, Johnny Robert Burchell and Jimmy Robert Burchell; and her daughter Vicki Diane Mercer Coker.

She is survived by: her sisters, Charlotte Burchell and Delores Burchell Leonard; her daughters, Lorian Angelique Mercier and Eleshia Michelle Mercer Tricour; her grandchildren, Billy Keith Coker, Wendell Scott Coker, David Wayne Coker (Stacie), Clayton Wayne Hammonds, Noel Brooke Milton and Austin Blake Stilley; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Makayla, Breanna, Kaleigh, Gage, Caleb and Gabriel.
