He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Boykin and Mary Boykin; his sister Deborah Boykin Moore; and his granddaughter Kendra Malott. He is survived by : his wife Patsy Gibson Boykin; his daughter Carissa Cerda of Middletown, OH; his brother Doyle Wayne Boykin of Bastrop, LA; and his grandchildren, Chad Cerda, Nicholas Cerda, Noah Cerda, Cabrian Cerda, Tyler Malott and Austin Malott. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
