With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Williams (Bastrop, Louisiana), who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gladys leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her children, Amy, Lucille and Hollins. She is also survived by children, her siblings, her eighteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the First Community Baptist Church (9115 Carbon Plant Rd, Bastrop, LA 71220). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morehouse Baptist Education Association Building (6420 Collinston Rd, Collinston, LA 71229).
