He was predeceased by: his father Douglas Ray Holland; and his brother Donnie Ray Holland. He is survived by: his mother Christine Burgess Holland of Tampa, Florida; his son Jeremiah Jason Holland (Megan); his grandsons, Gray Jeremy Holland and Samuel Reid Holland of Frisco, TX; his siblings, Jimmy Lyn Holland (Mary Ann) of Grand Bay, Alabama, Jo Ann Cooper (Ed) of New Orleans, Louisiana and Gary Wayne Holland (Carolyn) of Tampa, Florida; and his former wife Kathy Johnson Holland of Bastrop. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Hall or American Ex-Prisoners of War Foundation.
