With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harry Alfred Johnson Jr. of Bastrop, Louisiana, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son H. A. Johnson, III; his parents, Harry Alfred Johnson, Sr. and Mildred Franklin Johnson; and his sisters, Linda Legrand (Don Legrand, Sr.) and Mary Catherine Kreeger (John Kreeger).
He is survived by: his wife Pat Johnson of Bastrop, Louisiana; his daughter Meghan Clark (Reg Marquez); his sister Charlotte Kelley (John) of Waskom, Texas; and his grandchildren, Mia Juarez, Curran Clark, Merrick Marquez, Harper Clark and Maeve Marquez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Homes - Bastrop Chapel (611 N Washington St, Bastrop, LA 71220). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
