He was predeceased by: his parents, Shorty Myrick and Josephine Myrick; his sister Pam Myrick Clark; his parents-in-law, George and Zelda McGrew; and his brother-in-law Danny McGrew.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Myrick; his daughter LaDonna Smith (Mark); his sister-in-law Cindy McGrew; his grandchildren, Caroline Williamson (Samuel) and Kalie Turner (Trent); his great grandchildren, Oliver Williamson, Luke Williamson and Cole Turner; his niece Jessica Fiorenza; and his nephews, Jeremy Myrick and Casey McGrew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bonita Road Baptist Church (7204 Pine Grove Loop Rd, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
