She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene McIntyre and Jessie McIntyre; her husband Joe Ellis; and her siblings, Lois Evans and Floyd McIntyre.
She is survived by: her children, Joni (Carl Whitehead) and Quintin Ellis; and her sisters, Dorothy McWilliams and Doris Carruth. She is also survived by the nieces and nephews along with extended family and friends.
