Jerome Woolsey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerome Woolsey of Bastrop, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Connie Owens Woolsey; his close friend Donna Schultz; and his siblings, Ruth Taylor, Ronald Woolsey, Donald Woolsey and Wallace Woolsey.
He is survived by: his son Justin Woolsey; his siblings-in-law, John Taylor and Elizabeth Ann Woolsey; his grandson Zachary Jones (Kailee); his great grandchild River Irene Jones; and his nieces, Audrey Woolsey, Melissa Woolsey Henderson, Brenda Taylor Atkins, Debbie Taylor Baker (Glen) and Phylis Taylor Rhodes (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
