He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgle Piercy and Mary Nell Piercy; and his sisters, Julie Nunnery and Marie Massey. He is survived by: his wife Geniece Parker Piercy; his daughter Connie Powell (Jeremy) of Monroe, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Jackson Earl Powell, Abigail Powell of Crossett and Allison Powell of Monticello, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Clyde Piercy (Joyce) of Delhi, Leroy Piercy (Deleree) of Rayville, Louisiana and Mary Eagles of Winnsboro, Louisiana..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oasis Church (6645 Milton White Rd, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
