He is survived by: his sons, Borden Townsend (Renee) and Joe Townsend; his sister Joyce Goyne; his grandchildren, Alexis Cockrell, Aaron Townsend and Michael Lemons; and his great grandchildren, Jones David Cockrell, Clarke Lane Cockrell, Daniel Grayson Lemons and Mason Blake Lemons.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220).
