He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Virginia Woolsey Taylor; his parents, John Kenneth Taylor and Mamie Harris Taylor; and his great grandchild Timothy Cole Baker. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Taylor Baker (Glen) of Bastrop, LA, Brenda Taylor Atkins (Fred) of Bastrop, LA, Phyllis Taylor Rhodes (Jerry) of Bastrop, LA and Lisa Taylor Smith (Jimbo) of Linville, LA; his sister Alice "Topsy" Freeland; his grandchildren, Tim Baker (Michelle), Shay Baker Smith (Trey), Brandon Baker (Jenny), Kimberly Atkins Cooper (Bryan), Kristal Atkins Hayman (Neil), Jeremy Rhodes (Chasity), Kaci Rhodes McMillan (Kaleb), Kelli Rhodes Marus (Casey, Jr.), Samantha Smith Kitchenman (Justin) and Erik Taylor Smith (Casey); his grandson-in-law Neil Hayman; Bro. David Sistrunk, Tim Baker, Jeremy Rhodes, Erik Smith, Josh Jones and Jordan Jones. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; special friend.
