It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lendal Johnston (Bastrop, Louisiana), born in Pineville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claiborne "Tom" Johnston and Jessie Crain Johnston; and his son-in-law Skip Leachman. He is survived by: his wife Mimi Johnston; his children, Rick Johnston (Vicky) of Lake Charles, Conway Boone (Heather) of Ruston, Sondra Finkbiener (Karl) of Brandon, Angie Leachman and Amelia Adams (Curt) of Sterlington, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, Blake, Russell, Katy, Kyle, Katie, Madison, Abby, Corban, Legend, Travis and Emarie; and his siblings, Peggy Wilson (RD) of Tullos, Donald L. Johnston (Brenda) of Bastrop, Louisiana. and Pat Taylor of Bastrop, Louisiana.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
