She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Evans and Mabel Evans; her husband Frelston Mewborn; and her children, Betty D. Carlisle and Shirley Mewborn.
She is survived by: her children, Frelston Mewborn, Jr., Michael Mewborn and Cindy Ducker; and her grandchildren, Tina Carlisle, Clay Carlisle, Stephanie Burell, Ryan McKinley, Molly Mewborn, Courtney Ducker and Matthew Mewborn. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ouachita Parish Public Library or the Alzheimer's Association.
