She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Henry Bearden and Agnes Vosburg Bearden; and her siblings, Bobby Bearden, Don Bearden and Deborah Bearden Boyd.
She is survived by: her son Jacob "Jake" Bearden; and her sisters, Charlotte Jackson and Peggy Butler. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home (611 N Washington St, Bastrop, LA 71220). A committal service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mer Rouge Cemetery.
