She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Butler Womack and Rufus Womack; and her husband T. J. Parker. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Parker Kirkman (Reggie), Cynthia Parker Aycock (George) and Ted Parker (Rhonda Gentry Parker); her grandchildren, Mary Hassell (Richard), Rebekah Goehler, Vince Baria (Mary Brooke), Bonnie Hall (Billy), Emily Cage (Shelby), Amanda Hogan (Jeremy) and Millicent Parker; her friend Jean Blackard; and her pet Puddin (Penny). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.

For those who wish, the family suggest any planned memorials be made to the Bonita Road Baptist Church at Mer Rouge, 7204 Pine Grove Loop, Bastrop, Louisiana 71220.
