He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Edwards and Naoma Edwards; and his siblings, Louise Willis, Yvonne Gregory, James Edwards, John Edwards and Joan Gillet.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Edwards; his children, Debbie Brown of Bastrop, LA, Rick Edwards (Becky) of West Monroe, LA and Tim Edwards (Cindy) of Bremerton, Washington; and his grandchildren, Erica Edwards, Brandon Edwards, Jessica Edwards, Tessa Edwards, Diana Edwards, Sue Anne Brown, April McMilleon and Jennifer Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
