It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Brixey (Bastrop, Louisiana), who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Brixey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Lindel "Simp" Brixey; and his brother Robert "Rob" Brixey. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Brixey; his daughter Whitney Oswalt (Daniel); his grandson Kasen Oswalt; his nephew Shane Brixey (Litza); his nieces, Kameryn, Kylie and Ariah; and his aunt Patsy Mardis.

“My heart is heavy for Mike's beloved family,Mike was a fine ,kind, good man my first cousin,I loved him ever since he was a baby,was around Aunt Betty and Uncle Simp as a small child so I was so excited when Mike was born,at 10 I carried him around on my hip and me and my other first cousin always kind of fussed about who was going to get into hold him first,Hadnt seen him in a while cause life gets in the way of things you might want to do sometimes!!! Sincerely!!”
