It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Louis Trippe of Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on October 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ralph and Mary Juanita "Bill" Trippe; his siblings, Alexia Trippe, Terri Degges and Lamar Trippe; and his nephew Joshua Degges.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Amber Trippe Fife; his stepdaughter Billie McKee; his sisters, Pam Hayes and Georgia Day (David); his brother-in-law Lamar Degges; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
