She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin B. Allen; her parents, William Claude McGee and Ruth Willis McGee; her sons, Melvin W. Hunter and James "Jamie" Hunter; and her brothers, Carl McGee and James McGee.
She is survived by: her son Robert Hunter (Laura) of Bastrop; and her brother Robert McGee of West Monroe. She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many special friends.
