He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Sue Blackwell; his parents, Hubert Farris and Minnie Lee Farris; and his siblings, Lois Pace, Inez Haverland, Jim Allen Farris and John Wayne Farris.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Farris (Heather) and Misty Young (David); his grandchildren, Myra, Rachel, Raleigh, Nolan, Ginger and Tucker; his great grandchild Kyler; and his siblings, Evelyn Wolf, Linda Saunders (Glen), Hubert (Lilly), Fred Farris, Curtis Farris and Douglas Farris.
