With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodney Louis Hawthorne of Bastrop, Louisiana, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hawthorne and Betty Hawthorne. He is survived by: his children, Chastity Daigle (Chad) of Sterlington, LA, Felicia Tucker (Heath) of Douglas, AZ and Cody Hawthorne (Morgan) of Bastrop, LA; his brother Davey Hawthorne (Cindy) of Mountain Home, AR; his uncle Francis (James Hawthorne); and his grandchildren, Gabe White, Trent Williamson, Chesnie Daigle, Cierra Zarger, Justin Tucker, McKenzie Leleu, Ashlynne, Bella of Ava, AB, Evan and Asher Hawthorne.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
