He was predeceased by: his parents, L. A. Evans and Louise Evans; his former wife Bonnie Sue Evans; his son Jim Watts; and his siblings, L. A. Evans Jr., Irwin Evans, Benny Samuel Evans, Huey Franklin Evans, Jeanette Ray, Kenneth Evans and Mary Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Evans; his children, Annette Gongre (Randy) of South Carolina, Cathy Pittman (Donnie) of Florida, Thomas Watts (Christine) of Louisiana, Henry Watts (Mary) of Texas, John Anthony Evans (Deborah) of Louisiana and Michael Evans (Polly) of Louisiana; and his siblings, Edna Fay Jordan of Louisiana and Ray Evans of Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
