She was predeceased by : her parents, Elwood Baker and Juanita Baker; and her siblings, Michael Baker and Myra Baker Albritton. She is survived by : her husband Robert A. "Andy" Coats; her children, Christine Coats Gillikin (Jay) of Monroe, LA and Robby Coats (Lisa) of Bastrop, LA; her grandchildren, Justin Coats (Holly), Morgan Carter (Jake Bradford), Blake Gillikin (Tyler) and Brice Gillikin (Kristen); and her great grandchildren, Ridge Coats, Rylan Coats, Reed Coats, River Coats, Hoyte Carter, Pearson Carter, Jackson Bradford, Elizabeth Gillikin, Catherine Gillikin, Dean Gillikin and Emilia Gillikin.

The family asks that memorials be made to First Baptist Church or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
