He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lloyd Baggarly and Helen Elizabeth Lyles Baggarly; and his mother-in-law Rhetha Meredith Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Robin Shoemaker Baggarly; his daughter Meredith Chappell (Brandon); his sister Linda Moore (Gary); and his nephew Tyler Moore.
In lieu of flowers, Dr. Baggarly's family requests memorial donations be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association or Memorial Methodist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana.
