She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Talbert and Raney Talbert of Nevada; and her husband Hamilton Potter Smith. She is survived by: her sister Sue Dawkins; her niece Rhonda Melton (Glen Melton); her great-nieces, Erin Klitzke (Kyle) and Rebecca Edwards (Jake); Amelia, Hannah Klitzke, Lucy Claire, Luke and Miles Edwards.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery (2202 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360).
