She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Olan and Lena Roberts Laing; and her brother Billy "Bill" Dan Laing. She is survived by: her children, Amy Freeland, Wilbert Jackson, Chris Freeland (Lindsey), Michael Frith and Ashley Frith; her siblings, Carolyn Petrus (Charles), Fred Laing, Jr. (Glenda), Tommy Laing, Jimmy Laing and Sonja Brown; and her grandchildren, Christopher Twiner, Christopher Freeland, Ronny Freeland, Dalon Moore, Dawson Moore, Jaxon Costanza, Colson Costanza, Charli Costanza and Kira Shock. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
