In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. B. Rankin, Sr. and Sara Jane Williams Rankin; his grandparents, Alex Norwood Williams, Sr., Mary Emma Davenport Williams of Mer Rouge, Louisiana., Edgar Rankin and Mary Frampton Rankin of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania.; and his wife Gayle Williams Rankin.
He is survived by: his brother Alex Williams Rankin (Shelley); and his niece Dr. Sara K. Rankin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church (201 Davenport Ave, Mer Rouge, LA 71261). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
For those who wish, the family suggest planned memorials be made in Tommy's memory to either Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 65, Mer Rouge, Louisiana 71261, Oak Woods Health and Rehab, 1400 Davenport Avenue, Mer Rouge, Louisiana 71261, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
