He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte June Hartman; his son William J. "Billy Joe" Hartman; and his siblings, Josephine Rounds and Donnie Hartman. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Hartman, Bunnie Mursko, Jacqueline Kuehn, Barbara Dewitt and Debra Lucas; his sister Barbara Friend; and his close friend Tootsie. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
