We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, at the age of 62, Alden L. DeWitt III in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alden L. DeWitt III to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Alden L. DeWitt Jr. (Buddy); his brother Brant; his parents-in-law, Jewell Lucian Harris and Sylvia Lee Harris; his nephew Cole Thompson; his pet Max; his wife Nancy; his son Michael Williams (Misty); his grandchildren, Audrey, Ava and Alaina; his son Alden L. DeWitt IV (Abbie); his grandchildren, Abigail, Amelia, Cameron and Meredith; his mother Helen DeWitt; his sister Becky Stark; his sister-in-law Patricia Thompson (Charlie); and his pet Beaux. He was also cherished by Daddy and Papa to his Wife, Sons, and Grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery (3960 LA-139, Monroe, LA 71203).

The Family has suggested a meaningful way to honor Bud's memory by donating to the Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery Association or to Friends of Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge at friendsofblackbayou.org.
