She was predeceased by: her grandson Kohen Kleinpeter; her father Rudy Mesa; and her grandmother Teresa Massa. She is survived by: her boyfriend Jason Vincent; her children, Breanna Kleinpeter Boudreau (Brendan), Brandon Kleinpeter, Shawn Kazmir (Kenny) and Ryan Kleinpeter (Tina); her grandchildren, Cooper, Jack, Lucille, Karsyn, Eric, Abbey, Rylin, Owen, Kinsley and RJ; her mother Rita J. Mesa; and her sister Denea Mesa.
There will be a reception following mass at The Stockade Bed and Breakfast (8860 Highland Rd, Baton Rouge, La 70808.) In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Alzheimer's Association in memory of Alecia.
