She was predeceased by: her husband Charles R. Wood, Sr.; her parents, James Dewey and Estelle Boyd Andrews; and her siblings, Una May Stewart, Neloise Alford, Kaitie Hunt Boyles and Toxie Billy Andrews.
She is survived by: her children, Charles R. Wood, Jr. (Tammy), Randal K. Wood (Melissa) and Sandra Wood Brown (Joey); her grandsons, Austin Wood (Jeanne), Bradley Wood (April), Andrew Brown (Tracy), Jared Brown (Charlie LeeAnn) and Garrett Wood (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Elijah, Stella, Adeline, Morgan, Tyler, Silas and Wade; and her sisters, Christine Pittman and Joyce Carney. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
