Bodo Claus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bodo Claus of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on June 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kitty Roy Claus; his parents, Margret Claus and Paul Claus of Berlin; and his siblings, Gunter (Leni), Weiland (Margie) and Mausi (Tom).
He is survived by: his children, Heidi Claus, Laura Claus Franks (Michael) and Michael Claus (Sarah); his grandchildren, Cole Cardenas, Katie Rooney (Alex), Camille Stone (Patrick), Jake Fisher, Caroline and Bodo Claus; his great grandchildren, Lily Rooney and Stella Stone; and his sisters, Ingrid Achee (Nick), Peg Austin (Tom) and Elaine Roy (Vic).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Home of Heidi Claus (11131 N Oak Hills Pkwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70810).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to St. James Episcopal Church.
