He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Moss Morton Bannerman and Melva Thompson Bannerman. He is survived by: his wife Dana Johnson Bannerman; his children, Blair Bannerman Anderson (Bill) of Baton Rouge and Christopher McLain Bannerman (Megan) of Northridge, California; and his siblings, Jeanne Bannerman Alexander of Birmingham, Carol Bannerman Juban of Baton Rouge and Moss Dempsey Bannerman of Covington, Louisiana.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rabenhorst Funeral Home & Crematory North Chapel (825 Government St, Baton Rouge, LA 70802). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
