It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Celeste Arsane Cossey of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donnie Herman Redden and Cassanda Arsane Harrell; and her siblings, Roy Lee Redden, Willie James Redden, Virginia Emma Palmer (Bea) and Donna Helen Hunt.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Gene Cossey, Sr.; her sister Cassanda Jewel Binning (Wayne); her children, Lisa Ann Richardson (Pat), Leonard Gene Cossey, Jr. (Len) and Michael Brad Cossey (Carey); her grandchildren, Torri Shai Brown, Patrick Gene Richardson (Kalysha), Kaitlyn Celeste Sensanbaugher (Caleb), Michael Anthony Cossey (Mac), Ethan Lane Richardson and Leonard Gene Cossey III (Leo); and her great grandchild Cameron Michael Brister. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
