He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Isaiah Mitchell and Irene Hawkins Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Temperance L. Mitchell, Christopher C. Mitchell (Vanessa) and DeJean O. Mitchell (Demi). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters; four brothers; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
