It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Dianne Perkins (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Cynthia find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Whitehead and Annabelle Johnson Whitehead. She is survived by: her sons, Jim Perkins (Tracey) and John Perkins; her friends, Susan and Steve Hayes; Kristi and Sarah.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwell Springs Baptist Church (19421 Greenwell Springs Rd, Greenwell Springs, LA 70739).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the JOY Club, the Senior Adult Ministry at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church—a ministry close to Dianne's heart.
