Dane L D'Armond Obituary

We announce the death of Dane L D'Armond (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 78. Dane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Dane will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Dane’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Bonnie Theriot D'Armond; children: Tracie Porter (David), Paul Messenger, Joey Messenger (Yaima), Jeremy Messenger (Annie), and Courtney Jones (Kasey); grandchildren: Hunter Porter (Jessie), Haley Noland (Ethan), Logan Messenger, Suede Messenger, Maggie Messenger, Charlie Messenger, Brady Messenger, Kaden Jones, Kameron Jones, and Kendall Jones; great-grandchildren: Remy Porter, Landry Porter, and Ellis Noland; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lance (Candy) D'Armond and Donald (Jency) D'Armond; parents: Virgil Lea D'Armond and Eunice Theresa D'Armond; other: John Milazzo, CJ Bonadona, and Don Cook; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Park (4045 North St, Baton Rouge, LA 70806).
