He was predeceased by: his parents, Fabiola Hammond, and Henry Hammond, Sr.; his brother Henry Hammond, Jr.; his nephew Devin Hammond; and his stepson Shardon Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hammond; his sons, Aaron J. Hammond and Daniel Hammond, Jr.; his sisters, Margaret Knighten and Lori Udeh; and his grandchildren, Skylar Hopkins and Aaron G. Lee.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church (9700 Scenic Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70807). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the same location.
