He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Roberts and Michelle Mercier; his grandchildren, Alexis, Chloe, Ethan, Noah and Zoe; and his siblings, Joe Jr. Mercier, Cathy Mercier Hooge (Randy), Billy, Sharon Mercier and Ruby Mercier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
