Donald J. Powers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Powers (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald J. Powers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Earl Sr. and Margaret Luce Powers; his brothers, George, Charles Jr. and Lawrence Powers; and his significant other Geneva Ann "Minerva" Bourgeois Powers.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mindy LaBauve (Kevin) and Denise Powers; his grandchildren, Zack Powers (Collin), Madison Francis (Turner), Maggie "Goose" and Brody LaBauve; his great grandchildren, Brooks and Bennett Francis; and his brothers, David and Lloyd Powers. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandkids.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Timothy Building at the Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the same location.
